Open .ink files with a double-click

In Chrome or Edge on Windows, this page can open .ink files straight from a folder:

  1. Install this site as an app. In Chrome: the ⋮ menu → Cast, save and share → Install page as app. In Edge: the … menu → Apps → Install this site as an app.
  2. Choose it once for .ink. Right-click any .ink file → Open with → Choose another app → Indigorgeous by Indigo Ink → Always. The browser never takes over a file type by itself, so Windows asks you this one time.
  3. Allow the first file. The first time a file opens this way, the browser asks whether the app may open it.

Firefox and Safari can’t open files this way. Dropping the file above always works.
