Key Concept

The Critical Distinction
IN Paper
Emboss prints first
ON Paper
Raised prints last

Embossed texture is created BEFORE the paper arrives by building a mold. The texture is pressed INTO the paper substrate. Raised ink is applied AFTER CMYK, sitting ON TOP of the printed surface.
